Re: RC: non-member fees

Correct, membership has it's privileges, Sandy. I am not saying the fee isn't worthy I am not saying people shouldn't renew their dues. I am simply stating that the $10 non-member fee should not be the responsibility of RM to collect. Why can't it be a little easier for them?? Just a little?? The riders/members wouldn't have AERC if not for the ride managers. Which came first? People who put on the rides, then AERC. That is a fact. Don't take it personally when someone doesn't want to pay to join or ride. That is their loss. Although, it could effect all of us in the long run. Lisa Salas, The Odd fARm

Gee it seems to me that it is a bit of a slap in the face of those who DO
support the programs and support of AERC when those not so inclined would not
pay an additional fee for participation.  So....what would be the impetus for
joining? Mayhap the rest of us who ARE members would just let memberships
lapse all over the country - and there would be no AERC. Just throwing that
concept out there...
