My steel 3 horse slant with dressing room BP
weighed 3800 lbs. My aluminum Featherlite 3 horse with dressing room BP weighs
the same. Why? The Featherlite has better axle suspension (pulls much better)
and I had a wood floor put in. I put the wood floor in for two reasons. It is
cooler in the south (heat from the road heats aluminum) and it gives more
support to the frame. I am pretty sure it won't crunch as easy as an aluminum
floor. Aluminum won't rust, but will corrode and pit and therefore become weak,
so both types of floors should be checked often. Lisa Salas, The Odd
