Sports Saddle dry seat problem

  Have a Circle Y SS western type. Love it is so many ways but find a dry spot right under my seat. I'm 200 pounds. My big saddle mule is a thoroughbred type - bit bony backed. 

  Just use a thick wool pad. Will a Skito pad solve the problem? Recommendations please???

Some of my friends strongly warnthat SS places too much pressure on the spine. Said this has been tested. 

  I'm surprised that so many people in the mule users group warn against the SS due to the "concentrated butt pressure." Now I see the problem. But why do so many of you endurance riders like it then?
