Re: RC: NATRC vs AERC?

Both are fun.  Just different ways to enjoy your horse on the trail.
The best thing to do is go to the NATRC website and read the rules.
When you show up at the NATRC ride, introduce yourself and tell them you are
new. They will take you under their wings and help you in any way possible.
NATRCers are  generally nice, helpful people.
I don't know how you rode your LDs, but you may, at first, find the 'window'
of time a little slow, especially in the Novice division. Relax, enjoy.
I ride two different types of CTR and LDs, and enjoy them all.  Many of us
cross over all the time and have a great time.
Have fun!

I am new to all of this,
can someone please tell me the
main differences between these
two types of rides?  I was thinking
of trying the NATRC ride in Palomino
Valley, NV in June and was wondering
what I might expect.  I have only done
2 AERC LDR's,...so far.  Are the NATRC
rides as much fun as the AERC rides?
Thanks
