If you decide to "endure" with this horse, here's some
practical advice <g>:  Sing to this horse.  Regulates your
breathing; you can't tense up while your are singing.
I was shaky/nervous the first few times I rode my horse
because of her history.  Trainer and breeder made me sing to
her as they observed us.  Worked great.  Good luck.  Email me
if you want the long, tortuous story that has a great outcome.
