Re: RC: Footwear for people
It seems to be a love/hate relationship on Ridecamp, but the best riding
shoe/boot I have EVER had was Ariat Extremes. They are now called Ariat
Expeditions. They are completely waterproof, have ankle support for
running. (I spend a lot of time on the ground during rides) There has
been some discussion regarding quality, but I think much of that is a
"lack of care". They ARE leather and are exposed to more abuse than
your saddle. If you will keep them treated as Ariat recommends, they
will last you forever and they are very comfortable. Everyone I know
who wears them loves them.
Look at them here.....near the bottom of the page..."Expedition Lace".
