I also agree with Sandy, if you are simply looking for a turnover you might
be asking too much too soon from a horse that age. That brings a different
outlook on the idea of starting a 13 yr. old. Realistically it takes time to
get a horse out their performing at their peek. The horse would have to be
proven to make a profitable sale, time takes away from profit in this case
and his age an issue. For a companion you have several years, for a turnover
time is not on your side in this sport. Most won't look at a horse that age
or be willing to pay much without a proven mileage record. Whatever the age,
an Endurance horse needs to be built up to performance for their well being.
