The seriousness of H&M cannot be over emphasized. With the ease
and speed we move here in this country it will spread and effect pretty
much every industry in America. It ***WILL*** come here. There is
little we can do to prevent it.
While humans and horses cannot get the disease they, and a myriad
of other animals, can spread it. It is even, from what I've been hearing,
wind carried. I saw on the news where they had closed ALL the trails
in an effort to lessen unnecessary travel.
This is the real Y2K. We are going to have to think in terms of lessening
our contact with other animals, people who travel to other countries, our
own travel and so on. We are going to have to be more risk conscious.
It is not going to be pretty.
