Re: RC: Quest Reaction
I originally just replied to Donna but then thought it might interest
the rest of ridecamp as well.
Linda Hedgpeth told me she wormed Niko, A Hal son, with it and he was
sore, actually almost paralyzed, in the hip for almost a month I
believe. Vets make all kind of excuses for it, like that the horse was
probably full of worms and this was a result of the worms dying etc,
however, I know Linda and the care she gives her horses and I've already
put in an order to St. Peter that if I have to come back, it will be as
one of her horses.
Also Susan Rodgers, a vet student who owns a horse transport company,
told me she gave her mare the wormer and she went into shock and she had
to give her epinephrine---- I am afraid to touch the stuff.
