I know of a local horseman who uses pineapple juice in his calves to cure
scours.  He used it himself when he had cancer treatments, and said it
worked amazingly well.  I wonder if there is some homeopathic remedy that
could be used safely in electrolyte paste to help the sensitive horses out?
Would it be ok to administer it under AERC rules??

Sorry Tom,  I know you are trying to go deeper than simple workarounds, but
I'd be interested to learn what simple workarounds people have found that
help their critters with this.  I would be suprised if my new mare doesn't
have diarrhea at her first few rides - she gets psyched to go.
