Easyboot question
Have heard that some folks are opposed to Easyboots for this reason: in
order to get them to stay on they need to be clamped on very tightly.
Conjecture is that this much pressure on the hoof wall is likely to cause
bruising. I don't find this hard to believe. The wall where the pressure is
greatest isn't designed to be put in a vice and I can see how that could
have a damaging affect.
I would like somebody to refute this claim because I use Easyboots a lot,
especially on my barefooted horse who has thin soles, and I'd like to do so
with a clear conscience.
General opinions would be of interest but I'd most value hearing from those
who have used them extensively and (no offense meant) would know a bruised
wall if they saw one.
Thanks.
