Tucker saddle

I went to the tack shop to look at the tucker saddles, they look very nice, but are heavy.  The owner of the shop said they were really made for gaited horses and didn't think they fit many arabs too well as the saddles are long.  I have not ridden in one or tried it on my horse, just what I was told.  Louise
