Re: Vacation spots near horses?
If you do a web search for "Montana outfitters", there are alot of guest
ranches in some of the most beautiful country you'll ever find, plenty of
riding and plenty to do non-riding, and very family-friendly. Some are just
nice lil cabins and a dining room, some can get pretty ritzy. I'm sure you
could find one that would let you bring your own horse, or would have good
horses you'd be happy with.
I have a fellow research-vet-student friend from Montana who's traveled all
over the world and she said Montana has spoiled her for anywhere
else..."yeah, the Alps are nice....but they're not Montana."<g>
Have fun. :-)
