There is a link here: www.endurance.net/2001xp/ that'll take you to the
place where I found the least expensive Vitamin E caps.

:+) uhhh...yeah, I'm feeding a little extra to your guy too.

I mix it with water and a little oil in a vitamixer. Just curious, why do
you want to try using carbo charge?

Actually, I don't have too much up about using carbo charge. I have a page
up: http://members.nbci.com/ridephotos/prideproject/weaver.html That
shows bloodwork from one horse on a ride, and electrolyte dosage, etc. I
don't usually bother with using CC on just a one day ride, especially on
Weaver. Of course, there are always tons of variables and what works for
one of my horses certainly doesn't work for the other one. Same for doing
the same ride from one year to the next -- I have to always be changing and
adapting.
I never did get around to putting up any of the results from
multidays. Rocky was tested in the last year on 5 days, 4 days, 3 days,
and 2 day rides (in the Pride Project). I learned a lot, it was definitely
worth the cost and the effort to do it (what effort, it was Rocky who had
to be the pin cushion!). :^)
I hate to give people advice on using CC. Most people who try it don't
have a clue what they are doing and then when they get into trouble, they
have something to blame it on. When in fact, their horses were already
going on the edge, and then they think they can add a magic potion and go
even faster/harder/longer. Well, it doesn't work that way. I've actually
had people ask me about using CC on a limited distance ride. Give me a
break, don't any of these people read your articles in EN????!!!!! (am I
getting preachy ---sorry).
Now I usually tell people that want to try it, that they should do at least
a 1,000 miles on their horse in competition first and get to know the
horse. And make sure everything is going right first. You've got to know
your horse, and what you are doing or you are going to get into
trouble. (whatever you do, don't follow the directions on the container,
that's reeeeally a bad idea)
