I've been watching the "Reno vs the East" discussion for a while and wondered why each region and its group (such as PNER here in the NW) could take turns putting on the convention in partnership with AERC.  It could also serve as the host groups, annual convention.  AERC could get help with scheduling, costs, etc.  and at least every five to ten years (depending on how many regional groups wanted to participate) people could go to the National Convention in their own backyard.  BTW I AM going to Reno this year!  I am SO EXCITED!
