Now Short horses was Cannons was Belesemo
Not me..........don't care much about height as long as the horse is strong
enough to carry me comfortably. 15.2.........That's a long way to fall. I
like my short horse. : ) Maybe I should write Ab's Top Ten Reason's for
riding a short horse (Um, er, ah....Pony)
10. Shorter distance from saddle to dirt = less time to pick up speed
before impact.
9. Don't have to search for downed trees and stumps mount up.
8. Easier to look the little @#$%&* in the eye when we are having a
training discussion.
7. No straining to lift that saddle up over my own head to set it on the
giraffe's back.
6. Far fewer incidents of low limb incumberances on single track rides.
5. How can I clip your ears if I can't even reach your @#$%&* ears???
4. Mom can reach all my itchy spots without a step stool.
3. Closer to the earth so the gravitational pull is stronger, thereby
helping to keep me weighed down and attached firmly to the saddle (ok, its
a stretch, but my creativity is waning)
2. Uhhhhhh, Uhhhhhhhh, UUUUUUUUUuhhhhhh, damn!
1. Easier to get horsey kisses & hugs.
Happy Sunday.........wet, cold, and windy here in Corning, CAAbigail Madden
