My husband has a bighorn.  He uses the round barrel Skito pad.  I use a
sports saddle and the barrel pad is the same except on the sides where
the cinch goes.   The barrel pad isn't as big and doesn't come down far
enough.  If you try to use it, the cinch rings, etc. will rub holes in
your horse.  I speak from experience here.
