Re: horse containment in camp
I carry four cattle panels. That is for one very mischeivious horse. My
other horse can actually be tied to the trailer, which I sleep in , she
never moves much . It depends on the horse. I have had horses that were easy
about it and some that were not . I have had mules you had to tie and
spiderhobble at night to prevent them from leaving. Safety is a big factor,
but accidents happen, horse have terrible wrecks with panels too, if they
can get stuck in it, tangled in it or wreck it , sometimes they will. So
use what works for you. My point is that the cheapest method is not always
the best. You can do this sport on a shoestring, but you better be ready
when it breaks...
