Deb,
Was there really this much problem this year? I didn't realize that.
Usually people there clean up very well. I think with the dumpsters you
won't have a big problem. the problem this June was the fact that
putting the manure in the truck was a physical impossibility for short
people! no excuse, really; people should ask for help since we're a
friendly bunch. but when I co-managed the ride there this Fall, using
the dumpsters, there was virtually no extra clean-up. Just a few piles
here and there where horses had been ridden and no one was camped near.
But as I said before, I wouldn't object to a deposit, as long as there
is someone availible to check when people were ready to leave.
And anyone who gets a chance to do this ride, even if you have a bit of
a drive it's worth it; great trails!
