Well, you don't know that, do you? Or have you had a biopsy done to prove it?
And even if you have, unless you can show that the seller was aware of the problem,
you may still be SOL.
I would certainly try to return this horse, if at all possible, as it does not sound
as though she is suitable for the purpose for which you bought her.
But that doesn't man you ought to tell the seller she has a metabolic
disorder that was diagnosed by folks on the net who never laid
eyes on the beast, much less saw any lab work.
(I'm not saying that this is what you are doing, just advising against it. <G>)
As one of the previous posters, who seemed to have some legal
knowledge pointed out, a lot likely depends on the phraseology of the
sales contract as to whether you can force the issue, or whether you
need to tread lightly.
