Kat's condition update

Some good news about Kat...
I just spoke with a friend of hers who said she is out of the ICU and
into a private room. She is talking and coherent. She had reconstructive
surgery today to repair her nose and chin...the surgery went well. It is
not known how long she'll remain at the medical center in
Flagstaff...Biggest risk currently, according to the doctors (who say
"no riding for six months"), is the lacerated liver, which is still
unstable and could cause internal bleeding. She also said that the pilot
and two nurses on the chopper appear to be recovering.
