I have read every one of his books and just finished the new one.  How sad.  
We once wrote him and offered him a horse if he wanted to come and ride Tevis 
and write a story about endurance riding.  He wrote back and said he would 
love to but feared it was too hard to do at his age.  I guess he didn't know 
about Julie.....mb
