Just a word of caution. Although ponying seems like a great way to
exercise two horses at once, it can be dangerous. Some of the most
terrible injuries I have seen and heard about - to inexperienced and
experienced riders alike - have happened when someone was ponying a
horse. Be sure to plan for a problem, assume that if something can go
wrong, it will and be careful
