EuroEnduro: Horse & Hound - Endurance Qualifications

Sounds exactly like what they already do in Scotland, but they get
"Thistles"...a bronze thistle, silver thistle, gold thistle. It's a
level of qualification that says they've completed certain distances at a
certain speed before they can move up. Doesn't allow much for people who
do their "moving up" training at home. I don't care for the idea of
having to do 25's before 50's (and don't even *mention* it to Josie!)
but...I have thought it would be nice to have an accomplishment
rating...sort of like people used to say, "He's ROC qualified" and you
knew they'd met those requirements. How's about "Bronze Eagle" 500 miles
of 50's. "Silver Eagle" 1,000 miles of 50's...with 5 top 10's..."Golden
Eagle" 2,000 miles with 500 miles of 100's. We could just have some sort
of "Platinum Diamond Studded Eagle" or "The Double Eagle" (so they'd
already have a theme song) for all these 5,000 plus wonder horses. :-)
Angie and Kaboot (who'd be a silver and a half)
