I have to ride roads quite a bit here in suburbia and have a running
battle with a friend who insists horses should travel with the
traffic the same as bikes do. Well, I disagree. I always ride facing
the traffic just so I can see what the approaching traffic if up to.
I want to have time to bail out if need be. ( or at least have a
chance to!)
