Angie, I would suspect she could go. After I smashed my shoulder in February, my surgeon was concerned that I would begin to ride to soon. Not that riding would hurt the repair(pins, plate, duct tape, and all) but that if I were to fall again and damage the shoulder, the repair would have me off a horse for a year. So I was back on at 6 weeks, and taking it very easy making sure we didn't tumble. For Darla, it will be high risk. Of course its her call and I know we all wish her the very best.
