A brief recap of the numerous replies I have gotten on ways to

Add this one: WALK...I was really surprised that I was not as sore after
a 100 as I am after a 50. Finally figured out it's because I like to get
off and walk after dark...3-5 miles...then I don't get as sore. I've
started trying to make a point of walking more after a 50 but the horse
keeps stopping to graze and I'm soooo sleepy >yawn<
