My UPS driver used to bring milk bones for the dogs. One day he
delivered something and then left. Came back 20 minutes later. I greeted
him asking if he forgot anything. He said he kept hearing noises in the
back of his truck, but when he pulled off and turned around to look---
nothing. This happened 3 times until he finally got up to investigate.
There crouched behind the little barrier was my Great Pyrenees up to her
elbows in milk bones. At that point in his story she emerged from the
truck with a hanged dog expression. From then on we had to do "Charlie
checks" before he'd leave. If you want to see her pic go to
