It's not a misprint, but as Heidi states, conditions have to be perfect.  It 
was a cool, dry day, with nary a hill or rock in sight--mostly mowed grass 
trails.   And I've always questioned the accuracy of the measurement.  There 
were two of us running together most of the way, and yes, we were going fast. 
 I still can't believe we did it, but that was the official time.
