where to live?

Hi,  I have always been interested in Montana...maybe someday i'll live 
there, who knows
has anyone ever been there, is it way too cold in the winter?  
WHAT ABOUT VIRGINIA, I think I might like it there too
WHAT ABOUT KENTUCKY, I could live there maybe
I don't want to live anywhere where there are hurricanes, or tornados though. 
 California has earthquakes, I can live with that but wind....don't think so. 
 trees fall down in wind.  the ground just shakes in quakes.
WHAT ABOUT NEVADA
WHAT ABOUT COLORADO
ANY INFORMATION ON THESE STATES?  ARE THERE LOTS OF RIDES IN THESE STATES?
ENLIGHTEN ME AGAIN....YOU PEOPLE ARE SO NICE WITH ALL OF MY STUPID QUESTIONS
