This reminds me of something that happened during one of my early lessons
with my dressage trainer.  She was telling me that when I reached a
particular letter, she wanted me to be at the "walk" -- my boy *immediately*
transitioned from the trot to the walk.  After that, she started saying "W"
or "T" instead.
