I am a firm believer in voice commands because you can get so much expression into them. My most used is a simple "aarrrgggghhh" which means NO. It can be hollered across the paddock, or muttered quietly under your breath to your stallion (back to that) at a vet check when some rude soul practically slams into him and you just want to let him know that his attention needs to be on you and that retaliation is not an option.
