A Wormy Question!

Hey ya'll!
Just cleaning up after a 3-day "Hootenanny" party out here in PA in the
middle of my big horse pasture...... horses walked through the tent last
night - chewed one of the picnic tables, my mare tried to do a
marshmellow, but it stuck to her nose! - did a lot of circling around the
bonfire, etc.  Anyway, here's the question.....

One kid found a long WORM in the grass in the pasture this morning. 
Description:  about 4 inches long, round and thin like a blade of grass. 
We ALL want to know what kind of worm could this be??????? horse
worm????? people worm?   alien????  We know one of you must know these
things.... please hellllp up!!!
