Oh well, definatly not a foxtrot.  Having owned a foxtrotter, I discovered I
hated that gait-convinced me to go back to trotting horses.  That particular
horse was also the most clumsy, un-surefooted thing-soured me on gaited
horses for awhile.  Someday, if I come across a Walker that doesn't trip on
every little rock on the trail, I will give it another try.  At this point
though, my emphasis is on horses that can traverse the rough terain and not
fall down!  My Foxtrotter went down climbing a hill, and gave me a
nice, permanent scar on my lip.
On the other hand, would like to see a gaited horse that is raised on rough
hilly ground, or taken on the trail at an early age.
