I agree with Frank.
The Amble, is a the gait some horses will do if they have a fast
walk and can be pushed faster. If you have long down hills,
it's easier to teach them to do it.
Alot of Morgans in my area can do it, and I had a 1/2 saddlebred
1/2 morgan that did it naturally between a walk and a trot.
It looks like a slow pace, not quite a walk and not quite a pace
and a horse can really book doing it, their heads bobbing away.
It seems to me most horses with a naturally high neck set can do
it easier, and it's a very smooth rocking back and forth
(side- to side) motion.
