Y'all should go talk to Boyd Zontelli---he wrote a terrific screenplay about endurance riding called "Good Time Charley and Freedom" maybe ten, twelve years ago that woulda made the Horse Whisperer look like yesterday's soaps.  It was really great.  I was crying like a baby just reading the screenplay, and those tend to be pretty dry.

Don't know why you say that, Heidi.  They made a movie called "The Horse Whisperer" - they could make one called "The Finisher is the Winner".  Oops - not too catchy.  How about "The Racer"?  Yeah, that's it.  It's the story of a guy who gets a rescue stallion and enters an LD and races, finishes first, and then there's this email list of people who flame him, but a woman comes to the rescue and teaches him how to condition, and on one of those LSD days, they find a pond & go swimming nekkid, and then one thing leads to another and voila, 11 months later there's a foal and a Tevis buckle.  Lif
