sportsaddle question

Are sportsaddles made by circle Y ? I remember seeing an ad that said 
"original sportsaddle, not circle Y". Can someone shed some light on this. I 
tried a circle Y western type sportsaddle on my arab and the front was way 
too wide for him, looked like it was made for a wide stock horse. Thanks.
