Coggins
Technically, you are required to have a Coggins certificate, a health certificate taken with the last 30 days, and proof of ownership from the Brandinspector (The Nevada inspector can issue one that is good for CA, OR, and NV). I have never been stopped and asked to provide any of these, but if you are and you do not have them, they can detain your horse, at your expense, plus whatever fines, etc. may be involved. It's a Gamble!
