If I read California law correctly and understand her correctly, that would
be bad advice (other than the ad). She lives in open range area and animals
are free to roam. Only if she has a fence that meets the somewhat subjective
requirements of California law can she legally sieze the animal. And then
there are some very specific legal steps that she must take.
