I guess how fast one goes on a hill depends on the steepness of the hill!
Hills are great to train on whether one is going up or down. The horse
should be able to do both with agility. Now my favorite place to pass and
gain some time is on a trail with knee knockers in the woods. One's horse
should be able to manuever the knee knockers with ease and once learned, it
is hard for others to catch you! Beware, keep your own joints fluid so you
can duck the branches and other gotchas!! Jeanie who enjoys all these
debates cause they make us think!
