Last Thing On Not Completing

If someone needs "stats" to determine whether they should load their horse 
into a trailer and go to a ride....just don't bother.
    Go turn your horse out and get back to nosing through the "stats" and 
pointing fingers and sit there self-satisfied telling yourself, "I'm an 
endurance rider".
    It usually boils down to this, the rider, BEFORE the ride, DURING the 
ride or AFTER the ride makes a wrong or ego-influenced decision that 
determines whether the horse will complete or not.
    And the stats, well the faction in endurance (and there is one) that 
likes to sit around basecamp and talk about so-and-so and why she/he is such 
a terrible horseperson to treat their horse in such a way.
     Sheesh.
