Re: RC: Re: Log Book...
Besides, those are 2 tiny little cards. And they certainly don't spend the
day on trail with me in the rain, mud, sweat, etc!
Do you actually have to carry the log book with you to each vet check??
If your horse has a ten year career you'd need a pack animal to go along!
(no more riding featherweight!!)
Besides, the vet is supposed to judge on what they see on that day. The
horse is lame on that day or not, the fact that he may have been lame last
month or last year shouldn't be a factor. By the same token a horse that is
lame for the first time in an impressive career shouldn't get a break so you
don't "spoil his record".
I don't mind records being kept, but don't make me drag them all with me, or
show them to the vet prior to judging the horse.
