horse wanted/California

Posting this for a friend whose moving to Maui, Hawaii from Massachusetts.  He has decided to leave his older horse behind but very much wants to take a horse with him.  Has a ship all set up to ship the horse to Maui.  Does anyone in Cal. know of a place where he might be able to get a nice arab?
