RC: Trailers/hauling and the camber of the road.

Pat Super is bringing up a point I was taught when
I started to drive (a 2-horse straight load)

When we hauled just one horse in a 2 horse straight
load, we always loaded him on the left behind the
left side of the trailer. 
Sometimes we'd move the partition over so it looked kinds like
a 1 horse slant, but we always had the horses front end
on the left.

I was told it had to do with the camber of the road
and cornering, and the weight distribution.
I have a 2 horse straight, and I still follow this principal.

I can see where this may NOT be true for Goosenecks.

But, no one I knew when I was a kid had a gooseneck. 
 We had big cattle trucks, or 2 horse straights..

Maybe there's some road engineer out there.......???
