eye issues
Maggie,
YIKES...be careful of do-it-yourself eye medicating. If the animal has some
eye trauma, or a viral infection, and you put a cortisone preparation in it
you could wind up with an out of control infection, inability to heal, etc.
As for the ophthalmic version of triple-ab ointment, yep there's a formula
difference. Would like to hear from pharmacology folks on the finer points
of that difference--darn sure I wouldn't use the non-eye stuff in delicate
tissues like eyes. BTW, you can get plain eye ointments that do not have
cortisone type additives.
