Re: RC: eye ointments

We flushed the heck out of his eye and could see that his eye was fine but
that the lid itself was irritated...I have never seen so many eye boogers
in my life!!! Oh and I used an ointment on the outside of the eyelid not
drops in the eye (except for the saline and some horsey stuff called Clear
Eyes). My question is...what is the difference between eyes in dogs and
horses that makes this stuff safe for one and not for the other? See all
the wonderful information I am getting? I can learn something new every
day here!!
