x-factor/heart scores

In  Bazy Tankersley's book ... And Ride Away Singing (pgs.229-230), she talks 
about research on heart scores and performance/rapid recoveries.  She had her 
stallions tested.  Is anyone else doing this?  Seems like it would be an 
excellent marketing tool for stallion owners focused on  producing 
endurance/racing athletes.
