Accomodations and families
Hi Rhonda-
Saw your post on rc. Thot I'd share that my purchase last year of a small
but comfy LQ trailer was partly based on an announcement by my husband re:
"crewing" for me or participating in rides. When I came back from an end.
ride whining about not wanting to sleep in the stock part of my bp stock
trailer again, having gotten soaked during the all night rainstorm- our
conversation started. I began talking about getting serious about attending
rides, and wanting to at least start out a ride in dry condition-even if it
had rained the night before. He started talking about shower, coffee, heat,
air conditioning...etc! Who would have thought?! Well, he has yet to
have an opportunity to crew for me or to ride in his own ride. However, we
both attended an out-of-state Donna Snyder Smith clinic and thoroughly
enjoyed the trailer creature comforts. We are also doing the long-distance
hauling of our track race horses in the new trailer. The torsion flex axles
and the gooseneck provide a more balanced ride. I'm certain the long-hauls
will be easier on the legs and pysches of all the horses. kathleen
