RC: RE: How to tie to Brenderup trailer
I have a Brenderup and always tie my horses (and my friends horses). I
have tied to the ramp in the back, but we normally tie on each side. My
trailer has a metal hook that is by the escape doors on each side. I've
never had problems with a horse tied like this. Also, I have the spare
tire which has never caused a problem. My Brenderup is a '97, so maybe
your friend's model is older or has been modified and doesn't have the
side hooks? They are actually part of the chest bar inside and are
VERY solid. The other thing we do is tie the escape doors open and hang
the hay nets inside hanging down in the door. The horses like this
since they can look at each other through the trailer...
The ONLY problem I've EVER had with a horse tied to my Brenderup (no
sharp edges, so never any cuts) is they LOVE to pull off the black piece
of rubber that covers the rivets on the side of the trailer... It is not
fun putting that back up (normally leave it down until the problem child
is no longer tied next to it...)
As for the trailer itself... I love it... I'll never get anything
else... One other good thing about it, you'll always have company at
the ride camps since everyone wants to come over and see that weird
looking thing for themselves!
Good luck...

honest!')

and Hershey the wonder pony ('can someone give me a boost? I can't
reach it!')
