<BG> Okay, I'll come clean!! At Death Valley, I finally got tired of the
size 1's coming off of Rocky. They mostly stayed on, but every so often
one comes off and he doesn't even blink, so I never know it. The farriers
been changing his feet slightly, getting that club foot fixed you know.....

So Linda tells me that I can get an "O" on this horse. I just gotta use a
rubber mallet. Uh huh.

So the next morning, there I was at 5:15 a.m. yammering on a size "O" on
Rocky's foot. Got them both on, front feet. No room for vetwrap or
anything else. I stuck duct tape over the teeth on the sides and that was
that. Rode him 50 miles, vetted thru and took the boots off. Put them
back on the next day, and so on, for 4 days. Worked just super, and we
never lost a boot! I guess I'm so used to taking them on and off that I
have the time allotment for it fixed into my schedule <G>.

Now of course, carrying a spare "O" won't be much helpful when I'm riding
my horse that wears a size 2 boot. Dang!
